SAFETY GUIDELINES

Train-Me-Up.com is a marketplace that connects independent training providers with individuals and families seeking athletic, fitness, and skills-based training. While we work to promote a safe and trustworthy community, safety ultimately depends on the personal responsibility, judgment, and communication of both providers and users.

shared responsibility

1. Shared Responsibility Principle

  • Train-Me-Up.com does not employ trainers or supervise training sessions. All sessions are independently arranged between providers and users.
  • Providers are responsible for offering services safely, ethically, and within their qualifications.
  • Users are responsible for selecting providers carefully, communicating expectations, and ensuring sessions are appropriate for themselves or their children.
  • Using the platform means acknowledging that both parties play an active role in safety before, during, and after each session.

2. Provider Safety Responsibilities (Trainers & Coaches)

Providers using Train-Me-Up.com agree to:

  • Offer services only within their experience, training, and legal qualifications
  • Accurately represent credentials, certifications, and background information
  • Communicate session details clearly (location, duration, goals, risks)
  • Maintain a safe training environment, appropriate to the activity

  • Set and respect professional boundaries at all times
  • Decline or stop sessions that feel unsafe, inappropriate, or beyond scope
  • Obtain parent or guardian consent when training minors
  • Carry any recommended insurance or liability coverage required for their services
  • Providers are independent professionals and are solely responsible for how services are delivered.

Users and parents/guardians are responsible for:

  • Reviewing provider profiles, ratings, and credentials before booking

4. Training with Minors

When sessions involve minors:
